Scholastic dishonesty is a serious academic violation that will not be tolerated. Scholastic dishonesty encompasses, but is not limited to:
- Copying from another tester’s work;
- Using an unauthorized testing proctor or taking the exam at an unauthorized testing location;
- Using materials that are not authorized by a testing proctor, such as lessons, books, or notes;
- Knowingly using or soliciting, in whole or part, the contents of an un-administered test;
- Collaborating with or seeking aid from another student without authorization during the test;
- Substituting for another person, or permitting another person to substitute for oneself, in taking a course test of completing any course-related assignment;
- Using, buying, stealing, or transporting some or all of the contents of an un-administered test, test rubric, homework answer, or computer program.
Please Note: You must agree to the following conditions in order to take this test online.
You must:
- Keep the video on your computer ON at all times so that the proctor can see you.
• Do NOT mute yourself. (You will be allowed to turn the volume down on your computer.)
• Change your display name in WebEx to show your full, legal name.
• Stay seated in front of your computer throughout the entire testing period or until you have completed the test.
• Clear your work area of any notes, paper, or books. Unplug any secondary monitors.
If any of the above conditions are not met at ANY TIME for ANY REASON (including technology issues) during the test administration, you will be automatically dismissed from the exam, your score will be invalidated, and you will have to re-test at a future testing date.
Please note: if you register for a test slot and do not cancel within the specified time (5 days prior), then you will be required to submit a statement from your Division Director explaining the extenuating circumstances regarding your “no show” in order to take the exam in the future. Testing deadlines will not be extended.
