Overview:
This $25 training is built to help members of the governing bodies of state agencies better understand the ethical and professional responsibilities that must be upheld by procurement professionals. Topics include professional standards, the structure and roles of Statewide Procurement Division teams, and an overview of the procurement process. This training fulfills the requirement listed in Texas Government Code Section 656.053.
